Good interior design should reflect your sense of style, and your needs and desires for your space—not your designer’s. Since I founded Larry Kushner Interior Design in 1984, I’ve worked together with countless clients to achieve their personal interior design goals. And I believe the results speak for themselves.

My environments are casually elegant, without obvious references to trends. I blend diverse elements from periods and styles to create comfortable interiors. It is very important to me that the final result reflects my client's, not my own, personal tastes.

I’m a hands-on designer, involved in the day-to-day details of each project, and I oversee all aspects of each job.

Good design forms the backbone of my work, which I embellish with decoration and attention to detail. I prefer to use the actual space as my departure point. I use color, lighting, and architectural details to enhance the space. Often textiles will start the creative process for me. Including my client's own art, antiques, or collections help shape the overall design. Finally, I always include items important to my clients in my projects.

Larry Kushner Interior Design is based in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area—with clients in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Palm Beach as well as other locations in Broward and Palm Beach counties. My clientele extends up the east coast to New York and New Jersey as well.
